P. Satyanand IMS sagt dass, P. Dilraj, der Patriarch unserer Pioniermissionen, hat das Tor der Ewigkeit betreten. Er liebte und diente den Ärmsten der Armen und den Menschen auf dem Grundstück. Möge er für immer inspirierende Generationen unserer Missionare leben.
‘Asmita’ als ein Verein wurde im Jahr 1987 gegründet von P. Dilraj, um der weniger privilegierten Gruppe von Frauen und Kindern, der unorganisierten Arbeitsmigrantenklasse in den städtischen Gebieten zu dienen. Im Allgemeinen Dialoge mit Hausangestellten, Straßenkindern, Lumpensammlern, Tagelöhnern und den Slumbewohnern der Städte. Sie sind aus ländlichen Gebieten in die Städte gekommen, um ihren Lebensunterhalt zu sichern. Sie gehören zur am stärksten gefährdeten Gruppe unserer Gesellschaft, wie jede der Städte unseres Landes.
Asmita sieht vor, die Migrantengruppen durch die Organisation von Frauen, Mädchen in Krisen und Straßenkindern, die ihre Identität verloren haben, zu stärken. ASMITA beabsichtigt, ihre Stimmen zu hören und ihre echten Forderungen von den betroffenen Behörden anzuerkennen.
Asmit schult sie darin, durch verschiedene Methoden und Schulungen auf die Erfüllung ihrer sozioökonomischen, bildungsbezogenen und politischen Bedürfnisse hinzuarbeiten. Hauptzielbereich: Um den Empowerment-Prozess systematisch und ergebnisorientiert zu gestalten, hat ASMITA zehn Slums der Stadt Varanasi ausgewählt und sie in zwanzig Zentren zusammengefasst, die ihre Aktivitäten auf Frauen und Kinder konzentrieren.
